Alive and Picking - KPFK 90.7FM Los Angeles Saturday Morning June 6, 2011 6:00AM - 8:00AM
This is the entire show. Our theme was 'The Northern Sound In Folk Music' - Mostly music that surfaced on the east coast and in Canada in the early sixties. I took the opportunity to take some time talking about Art and Paul and playing some of our stuff.
George couldn't make it for this show. He was tied up with some group called The Kingston Trio recording a new album. The nerve of some people. We did the best we could under the circumstances.

Joe followed with selections and conversation about Ian and Sylvia, The Chad Mitchell Trio, and Schooner Faire.

I added some of the singers whom I encountered in my early Greenwich Village days in the late fifties. Reverand Gary Davis, and Dick Rosmini. Then I spent a fairly large segment of my time talking about Art and Paul and playing some of my favorite cuts from out albums.
